Summer Program and Alumni

Alexandra Doncheva is a rising sophomore Finance major at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business based in the United States. Alexandra has native proficiency in Bulgarian and professional working proficiency in Spanish. On campus, Alexandra is recognized as a Smith Business Leadership Fellow, Sophomore Finance Fellow, and serves as the Vice President of Finance for the Smith Investment Fund.

Prior to her internship at Delwik, Alexandra has interned as a Financial Analyst & Investments intern for Quantum Financial Advisors. As a financial enthusiast, Alexandra has also had the opportunity to partake in numerous early career insights and professional development programs, including the T. Rowe Price Launching Your Legacy Program, JPMorgan Chase & Co. Insights Summit, and Goldman Sachs 2024 Virtual Insight Series.

In her free time, Alexandra enjoys traveling to new places, photography, and skiing. Alexandra looks forward to this opportunity to further immerse herself in global market trends and the international venture investing landscape.

Sahil Dand is a rising sophomore at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, pursuing a degree in Finance.

On campus, I am actively involved as an Academy Associate at the Smith Investment Fund (SIF), the University of Maryland’s Premier Investment Group. At SIF, I have undergone intensive technical training in accounting, financial modeling, investment strategy, and valuation. Additionally, I am a member of several other finance-related clubs and organizations.

I am thrilled to work as a summer analyst at Delwik, where I aim to gain experience in the M&A and Venture Capital sectors of finance. I am pursuing a career in investment banking or venture capital, and I believe that Delwik will provide invaluable experience towards achieving that goal.

I am experienced in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, running, practicing taekwondo, traveling, and volunteering.

Katelyn Chang is currently a student at Cornell University studying information science and government. Outside of the classroom she is involved with Cornell Consulting, a student-run organization providing consulting services to businesses and nonprofits and the Cornell Undergraduate Asia Business Society.

Previously, Katelyn has interned for the U.S. Department of State in their Education USA department as a project management intern, assisting the Azerbaijan office as well as for California based non-profit, Youth Leadership Institute.

In her free time, she loves watching sports (NFL, F1, NBA), thrifting, traveling, and co-creating and producing her podcast on ethical generative AI usage in creative fields.

Eryn Werner is a student at the Pennsylvania State University currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations with a minor in Digital Media Trends and Analytics through the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. Eryn is also within the Schreyers Honors College at Penn State which provides her with opportunities to further pursue scholarly interests such as the development of a thesis culminating her senior year. Eryn currently resides in Zug, Switzerland but during the school year resides in State College, Pennsylvania. Eryn is working as a summer analyst in order to gain experience and grow professionally. In her free time, Eryn enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and cooking.

Ayomide Akinrebiyo is a student at Cornell University currently pursuing a degree in Economics with a minor in International Relations in the College of Arts and Sciences. During her time at Cornell, she has earned a 3.917 GPA and taken courses such as International Trade and Finance, Macroeconomics, and Microeconomics, which have strengthened her interest in international business. On campus, Ayomide is heavily involved in the Cornell International Affairs Review, where she works as an editor for the journal that is published bi-annually. She is also a commissioner for the University’s Student Activities Funding Commission, an organization that allocates funds to the hundreds of student organizations on campus. As a native of Nigeria, Ayomide is fluent in Yoruba. She can also speak Mandarin, which she has studied for years both in and out of school. She hopes her work as a summer analyst for Delwik Group will give her more insight into the world of private equity within the African landscape and equip her to make an impact on the global business world.

Justin Zhang is currently a student at Cornell University’s College of Arts and Sciences studying economics and computer science. Outside the classroom, he is a student assistant at the Mario Einaudi Center for International Studies, which exposed him to and fostered his interest in international affairs and business. He is also a business analyst at Cornell Consulting, a student-run management consulting firm that offers clients, from Fortune 500 companies to national nonprofits, a wide variety of consulting services. Personally, Justin is passionate about various environmental causes and giving opportunities for young students to speak up. He is the co-founder of 2am, a nonprofit that brings awareness to various humanitarian issues with a focus on promoting young and student writers. In his free time, he enjoys drawing comic books, taking frequent neighborhood walks, and catching up on his favorite TV shows.

Yusuf Mukhtar is a private equity intern with the 2021 summer analyst class. He is a student in the 2024 graduating class at Middlebury College studying Economics and Spanish. While at Middlebury, he has taken courses such Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Intro to Computing, Intro to Comparative Politics, and Spanish. Through 3 semesters, he has earned a 3.79 GPA in his course work. Outside the classroom he’s on the college football team. Yusuf is a Nigerian-American citizen, fluent in Hausa and intermediate proficiency in Spanish. His hobbies include listening to music, spending time with his friends & family, watching movies, and exercising at the gym.

A first-year student attending Macalester College, MN primarily interested in Neuroscience and its applications in combating healthcare access disparities, and stigma surrounding neurodegenerative and mental disorders, also passionate about education equity and how impactful this can be in championing the issues of facts perpetuated in media or other means that render scientific facts obsolete.

A second-year undergraduate Honors College student pursuing Finance and Information Systems in the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. As a forward thinker and collaborator, I hope to dive into the finance industry with a focus on technology. I am also a lover of all things ranging from coffee to jeopardy, so feel free to reach out.

Ore Akinfemiwa is a penultimate undergraduate student at Queen Mary University of London. She studies History, Politics and International Relations and is particularly interested in African history and international development.

This is Ore’s second summer interning at Delwik and has also gained work experience from other top firms such as Charles Russell Speechyls, Mercuria Energy and TedBree- a tech startup. Her roles in these companies have varied from marketing and strategy to gaining an understanding in different law sectors.

Ore can be described as a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, possesses particularly strong interpersonal skills and is a diligent worker. Ore has strong IT and presentation skills and speaks fluent English and Yoruba whilst being proficient in Spanish.

Ehigie Akpata is a graduate from University College London, where he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Sociology and East European Studies and finished with a 2:1.

He has previously interned with Duet Group and Zenith Bank UK, where he was put through a rigorous investing education program covering qualitative analysis, accounting, comparable company analysis, revenue projection models, and discounted cash flow valuations.

He is tasked in developing his skills in deal origination, portfolio management, financial modelling and working closely with the team on the investment process.
